We proudly announce that our paper “Revolution or Evolution? AI-Driven Image Classification of Historical Prints”, written by Michela Vignoli, Doris Gruber and Rainer Simon, has been accepted for presentation at DH 2023: Collaboration as Opportunity at the University of Graz, July 10–14, 2023.

We will present first results of our image classification and discuss whether artificial intelligence revolutionizes or evolutionizes the analysis of historical images, and what challenges arise from the new methodology.
